Overview

Reinventing the experience in a competitive digital insurance market is a key step in the digital transformation roadmap for SCB Life Assurance, from being an insurance provider to a trusted partner to the consumer. To address the challenge, SCB Life Assurance approached Capco.

Together we articulated the foundational customer experience concept and technology platforms to design, develop and launch a new mobile app, which offers new innovative and efficient services that are relevant, valuable, and easy to access streamlined workflows and innovative features to encourage healthy living.

Remark: FWD Group acquired SCBLife Assurance. The company is now called FWD Life Insurance. Digital materials are now FWD branded.

The new platform, which is central to the company’s digitisation strategy, needed to provide reliable service, easy navigation, speedy performance and support as needed.

The design and experience have to be intuitive, usable and scalable to accommodate functional requirement changes and ongoing customer feedback.
